Please read the following. You must agree to these terms before you can register for CVB 2011

Payment

Payment of the registration fee must be made in advance by credit card or bank transfer. Should you choose to pay by banktransfer, please contact the Organizing Committee by sending an e-mail to organizers@CVB2011.nl. Bank charges are the responsibility of the participant and should be paid at source in addition to the registration fees. Please make sure the name of the Conference (CVB 2011) and that of the participant are stated on the bank transfer. Registration will only be valid upon receipt of the full payment by the registration department according to the deadline indicated. A copy of the bank transfer (or other proof of payment) will be required in the event that registration fees were not credited to the Conference account on time. Registrations without proof of payment will not be processed. The registration fee for CVB 2011 will be charged regardless of the length of time that a participant attends the Conference. The CVB 2011 registration fee cannot be prorated under any circumstances.

Confirmation
An official confirmation letter will be sent by e-mail within two weeks after receipt of full payment, with confirmation of your requests according to the submitted registration form. Finally, a letter including logistic and practical details will be sent by e-mail approximately two weeks before the Conference. We strongly recommend that you present your confirmation letter at the registration desks in order to collect your conference material.

Name Change
Registered participants who are unable to attend the conference may nominate a substitute participant free of charge by notifying the Organizing Committee in writing on or before June 15th, 2011. Substitutions after this date will be processed directly on-site.

Cancellations & Refunds
Any cancellation of registration should be notified in writing to the Organizing Committee by e-mail (organizers@CVB2011.nl) or by fax to + (31) (0) 84 8313409 and will be subject to the following conditions:

postmarked before April 15th, 2011 - 100% refund less 100 euro handling fee
postmarked from April 15th to May 15th 2011 - 50% refund
no refund for cancellations received after May 15th 2011

DISCLAIMING STATEMENTS CVB 2011

  1. To encourage open communication, each participant agrees that any information presented at the 9th International Conference on Cerebral Vascular Biology 2011, whether in a formal talk, poster session, or discussion, is a private communication from the individual making the contribution and is presented with the restriction that such information is not for public use. The recording of lectures by any means, the photography of slide or poster material, and printed reference to the 9th International Conference on Cerebral Vascular Biology 2011 papers and discussion is prohibited. Scientific publications are not to be prepared as emanating from the Conference. Authors are requested to omit references to the 9th International Conference on Cerebral Vascular Biology 2011 in any publication. Guests are not permitted to attend the Conference lectures and discussion sessions. Each member of the Conference acknowledges and agrees to these restrictions when registration is accepted and as a condition of being permitted to attend the Conference. Although the 9th International Conference on Cerebral Vascular Biology 2011 Organizing Committee will take reasonable steps to enforce the restrictions against recording and photographing Conference presentations, each member of the Conference assumes sole responsibility for the protection and preservation of any intellectual property rights in such member's contributions to the Conference. 
  2. The Organizing Committee of the 9th International Conference on Cerebral Vascular Biology 2011 (as represented by the BBBNedWork Foundation and the individual organizers: dr HE de Vries, dr ECM de Lange, dr PJ Gaillard, dr A Reijerkerk, or their employers) will not assume responsibility for medical expenses of participants and their guests at the Conference. All participants are urged to ensure that they and their guests are covered by their own travel and health insurance policies while travelling to and from and while attending the Conference and Social Events. 
  3. The Organizing Committee of the 9th International Conference on Cerebral Vascular Biology 2011 (as represented by the BBBNedWork Foundation and the individual organizers: dr HE de Vries, dr ECM de Lange, dr PJ Gaillard, dr A Reijerkerk, or their employers) is not responsible for private possessions lost or stolen during the Conference. 
  4. If it is necessary for young children to accompany a participant of the Conference, it is expected that they will not be disruptive to the Conference and must be supervised at all times. CVB 2011 does not provide childcare services.
